The year has kicked off with a bang and the green JTandA machine is rocking and rolling! I love the many exciting changes that the new year brings, the doors of opportunity that open and the inspiring people we meet!
We’ve instituted a number of changes ourselves to ensure that our 2017 goals of effective utilisation of our Quality Management System (QMS) support system and ensuring that our clients submit outstanding documents promptly to SETA is achieved.
Heading up the changes, I have taken on a more focused role as overseer and leader in order to keep my finger on the various pulses within JTandA and to ensure that as a unit we remain focused on each individual client’s goal.
Nompilo has been promoted from Office Manager to Operations Manager; this seasoned, toughened accreditation fundi will be handling all submission and tracking of accreditation. She’s a tough cookie who works fervently to ensure clients are accredited quickly and effectively, we’re thrilled to have her expertise in our operations fold.
Tracey’s portfolio is to head up our new business (sales) and admin departments. Her skill in setting new businesses in place is incredible and with phenomenal attention to detail – we’re look forward to an exceptional year in Sales and Admin!
Lindsay has a wonderful report with our clients; her easy-going-get-things-done manner has resulted in her being the ‘go-to’ person with many of our clients. Therefore, this year she will be at the forefront in keeping our clients in the loop with industry news and updates and sharing relevant pertinent information regarding accreditation maintenance. Our retainer clients will now have dedicated direct access for assistance in all their business needs.
Enter the new guy – Tyrone (Tyrone Wiggins if you need his official name) is the new on the block. Hailing from the industrious town of Richards Bay, Tyrone thrives on creating and building solid relationships; not only is this married father of two a committed dad, he’s funny, passionate and is always on the lookout for adventure. This rugby fan spends quality time on the weekends with his family taking part in various physical activities and when it’s me time, you’ll find him skateboarding or in the gym!
Tyrone is an extraordinaire business development professional, his ability to work alongside people is uncanny as is his ability of unpacking and working out solutions to client’s needs. And, if that’s not enough, he’s multi-lingual and ‘goois die taal’ in a few languages! If you’re based in Durban or Johannesburg, Tyrone is here to assist you with all your new business needs.
Gladys is pleasant, razor sharp and never takes her eye ‘off the ball’. We could not have a more capable set of hands to leave the task of the collection of outstanding documents in. She displays an incredible attention to detail and you’re in good hands when it comes to the certainty of ‘crossed t’s and dotted i’s’. Furthermore, Gladys will be on the lookout to ensure that our panel of experienced assessors and moderators grows; we’re committed to making your accreditation a professional one.
We extend our ‘good luck’ wishes to Nomvula Nkabinde in our Johannesburg office. Nomvula is responsible for putting our Files together, a crucial part of our business. As she prepares for the finals to complete her HR degree, she will continue to keep her head down ensuring your business is kept in safe hands; you’re one of a kind Nomvula!
